…Packed up a couple bags and took

our son to her parents’ house.

I was devastated.

The embarrassment at dinner was bad enough, but now it looked like I was on the

fast track to divorce.

I knew my wife deserved better.

And she could probably do better than being with a loser like me.

Someone who could be a real man and actually provide for his family.

But that’s the last thing I wanted to happen.

And the idea of another man raising my son made me sick to my stomach.

Not knowing what to do, I decided to go for a walk to clear my head and think.
